These terms apply when you use hivepop.co, our forms, or our pop-up service. By using them, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
Please give us accurate information, and don't misuse our site or forms, including by submitting false requests or trying to interfere with how they work.
Pop-up requests and scheduling
A pop-up is a Hive Pop treat cart set up at your business for a set number of hours, usually indoors, so your customers can buy cake pops and cake pucks.
A request is not a booking. Submitting a form tells us you're interested. A pop-up is only scheduled once I confirm the date, hours, and cart with you.
I choose the cart. I assign carts based on foot traffic and availability, not color.
Dates may change. If your requested date or time doesn't work, I'll offer other options.
No placement fee. Hosting a Hive Pop cart is free. I just ask that you share your pop-up on social media.
Host responsibilities
If you host a pop-up, you agree to:
Provide a safe, visible spot for the cart, and any space or power details we agreed on
Keep the cart area accessible to customers during the agreed hours
Let customers and staff know about the pop-up, and share it on social media
Tell me promptly if anything changes on your end, such as hours, closures, or events
The cart, the treats, and the signage stay Hive Pop's property. Please don't move, open, or restock the cart yourself.
Changes and cancellations
Please give at least 3 days' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. A few days' notice lets me offer the day to someone else. Rescheduling is always welcome.
If something comes up with less notice, email [email protected] or reply to your reminder email as soon as you can, and I'll work with you.
I may also need to change or cancel a pop-up because of weather, illness, or supply problems. If I do, I'll contact you as early as possible and offer a new date.
Food, allergens, and labels
Our treats are made in a home kitchen under Kansas cottage food rules. Each package is labeled with the product name, my name and address, the ingredients, the net quantity, and the allergens.
Right now, every treat we make contains wheat, milk, eggs, and soy. Each label lists the allergens for that product, and they may differ as we add new items, so please read the label every time. Tree nuts and peanuts are used in the same kitchen, and wheat is handled on every bake day, so we can't offer gluten-free or allergen-free products. If you or your customers have a food allergy, we can't guarantee that any treat is free of any allergen.
Sales and payments
Customers buy at the cart by scanning a QR code, and payments are processed by Square. Prices are set by Hive Pop and may change. Hosts are not responsible for selling or handling payments.
If there's a problem with a purchase, email [email protected] and I'll make it right.
Emails and texts
We only email or text you if you've agreed to it on one of our forms or told us in person. You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply STOP to a text. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of hosting a pop-up or buying from us. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Our content
The Hive Pop name, logo, photos, text, and designs belong to Hive Pop. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission. If you host a pop-up, you may share photos of the cart and treats to promote it.
Limits of liability
Our website, forms, and information are provided "as is," and we can't promise they will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Hive Pop is not liable for indirect or incidental losses connected to using our site or to a pop-up, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of our site or services means you accept the changes.
